Bulldog wearing Whistle Switch Smart Device

The Whistle guide
to dog poop

Picking up dog poop isn’t the most glamorous part about being a pet parent, but every number two offers clues into your dog’s overall health. It’s important to know what healthy and unhealthy dog poop looks like, so you can help their digestive system get back on track asap.

This feature is currently available on iOS devices.

Introducing Poop Scan

With this new feature, you can use AI to scan the quality of your dog’s poop. We’ll give you a detailed explanation of the results and help you easily add it to your daily check-in, so you can monitor changes day over day.

The Whistle App New Feature Poop Scan

Advanced AI on duty

We’ve analyzed over 12,000 pics of poop (all assessed by experts) to precisely classify your pup’s stool. It can spot dog diarrhea and other health indicators.

After the analysis (and a quick explanation of the results), you can quickly add it to your dog’s daily journal to note specifics (like mucus in dog poop, dog poop with blood).

Fecal Scoring System for dogs

How does Poop Scan score your dog's poop? We've created a dog fecal scoring chart to do just that. It's no longer the task of pet parents to determine if everything looks alright, Poop Scan will identify potential issues and provide suggested next steps.
