Jaren F. with Waverly
December 12, 2014
Waverly is our sweet, ornery, special needs Aussie. She is deaf and blind in one eye, with only 10% vision in the other eye. Of course, we understood the importance of keeping her secure when we adopted her.
One day, however, the UPS man let Waverly out of the yard when we were not home. She was gone for 3 days and we were worried sick. That's when I found Tagg. While I hoped that she would never escape, I had the assurance that if she did, I would know immediately and could find her.
Last week one of our horses (or goats... not sure) knocked down part of the fence while I was at work. I received a text indicating that Waverly was out of her safe zone. I left work immediately, but was 30 minutes away. I continued receiving texts as to her location.
As I pulled onto our dirt road I spotted my other Aussie, Lily, running around by the gate. I stopped and got out. Lily led me right to the spot where Tagg indicated that Waverly was. Waverly was circling in a field, trying frantically to smell her way home.
I hate that she got out again, but now I have absolute confidence in Tagg, and know that Waverly will never be in danger again. Thank you, Tagg!
