Introducing: Custom notifications and Overview
We recently shared a sneak peek at the 3.2 release and are excited to announce that the updates are now available for iOS, Android and Web App users today! One new surprise in the release is the Overview screen, where you can see all of your pets’ statuses and locations in one view. Earlier this week, our team also made a few bug fixes to improve accuracy for the Refresh GPS and Page button commands.
How to use Custom Notifications
No two dogs are alike, so it stands to reason that no two Whistle users are exactly alike either. Now you have a few more options to tailor your Whistle experience to your unique needs. Here’s how to change the types of notifications you receive, and how you receive them.
1. Sign in to your account at Whistle.com (for mobile devices, make sure to sign in on your browser)
2. Select “Your Account”
3. Using the toggle buttons on the right side of the screen, open the setting options for the notification type you would like to change (select from SMS, Email and Push notifications)
4. From there, select the type of notifications you would like to receive and your mobile number and/or preferred email address
5. Sit back and enjoy the freedom of choice as the new settings are set into action!
